Software Engineer with fluent C*C++ - Cambridge
Software Engineers fluent in C*C++ required. You will have an in depth knowledge of MFC, Qt or Swing, preferably with exposure to developing under a number of windowing systems, and a working knowledge of development on Microsoft Windows, Solaris UNIX and Red Hat Linux host platforms. You will have a good understanding and experience of cross platform GUI development, preferably with some exposure to GUI Internationalisation, and will be able to demonstrate a clear knowledge of development and validation processes and how to apply them in a time constrained development environment to ensure on time delivery. Good communication skills are essential, and you must be able to work in and contribute to a technically challenging environment, and have a methodical, organised, analytical approach to your work. You will also have a relevant degree or industrial experience. This is a great opportunity for experienced Software Engineers to join our client who is a leading provider of 16*32-bit embedded RISC microprocessor solutions in Cambridge. As part of the Visualisation team you will develop the user interface, (UI & GUI), delivering new and enhanced features over several releases. This is a technical "hands-on" role and you should expect to participate in the full development cycle from requirements capture to system testing.
